Campaign Story

Hi everyone! Our names are Derek and Lisa Serpa. We have been together since 2006 and married for 7 years. We have been trying to naturally have kids for 10 years with no success. After our wedding we finally decided to reach out to a medical professional to find out why we were not able to conceive naturally and found out that I (Lisa) had 2 large cysts (one on each ovary) the size of a grapefruit & a cantaloupe, that had to be surgically removed. Following my surgery we have tried everything from basic cycle tracking, fertility boosting medication and an IUI. Again with no success. Our last chance we have to have our own children is IVF.

Our insurance does not cover any of the treatment. We are now 37 and know that our window is getting smaller to try and wait until we can afford it on our own. That’s why we are here to ask for your help. 100% of the donations will go toward IVF treatments including: medications, procedures, consultations and travel expenses.
Any donation that you can give will make a huge difference in us being able to have a child of our own.

We want our chance be amazing parents, we have 11 nieces and nephews ranging from 4 months old to 16 years old that have given us plenty of practice. We are ready and able to be the best parents to a beautiful child. Please help us on our journey to parenthood.
